Braid is real nice until you get hung on a log 50' across a canal. You either wreck the lure, break the hooks, cut the line, or dodge a 200mph missile with hooks and your name on it.

The trouble with farm raised shiners is stress! They consume more oxygen and dump more waste and they are very susceptible to the ammonia build up.Being a soft(not hardened or hardy) bait they don't do well in big numbers in small buckets unless the o2 volume is high and the water is kept clean and cool.
