What are people out there paying for shiners? I went to a actual shiner farm an they want 15 a doz for large shiners

I've never bought shiners for bass fishing. If they won't hit a lure or a plastic worm, I'm fishing for something else!

Wouldn't even know where to catch shiners around here plus I'm learning the baitcaster I'm not going to add cast netting right now lol... I got a tackle box full of lures jigs an etc don know how to really use them

i dont use any live bait at all for bass... Learning to use a bait caster is cool tho.. I remember when i started.. I almost threw the dam thing in the pond a few times. You need to remember to set the brake for whatever lure you are using.. I have 2 shimano baitasters. I have one for only rattle traps, and one for only plastics.. SO they are set different. Birds Nest will be your least favorite word this summer.. lol.. Bail on live bait and learn how to use lures. rattle traps, top water, plastics. If you need some info just shoot me a pm..
