This is going to be my first hunt in North Fl. I am from the Orlando area and hunted restricted access WMA like Buck Lake or Seminole Forest where there is a single gate. So going to a WMA with zones and public roads running through the middle is a bit different for me. Can someone explain how the zone tags work and if it’s a daily tag? Are you allowed to park on the side of the road and walk in?
Scouting so far has turned up a few doe’s, small size sink holes, and very little water. Is it normal for the area [Zone A] to be so dry?
Any advice would be helpful,
Steven
Twin Rivers is a good hunt do not be discouraged by the different terrain. The rivers never go dry, and there are some sink holes that always hold water. So deer are spread out in all the zones equally. The zone tag is daily. So you need to get there early if you want 1 of the zones with less tags. Yes you can park on the side of the highway to hunt. I am gonna be there as a guest for 1st gun. Good luck!
