Those damn panthers and their eating habits.....
Southern glades is very close to my house. I've been out there a couple times but there's not much there. I spent an hour or so with the local gw a while back and he gave me some pointers but said there's only a few deer and no hogs left due to the pythons. A couple years back I took the ol lady for a ride and the gate was left open so I drove in. Came across a huge python that stretched all the way across the trail. When I pulled up it was heading into the brush and I got out to grab it. I would have had to head into the brush to get the tail but sissied out at the last second at the thought of not having a gun on me and getting in the swamp with it. And the whole time the misses was screaming at me to leave it alone and be careful.
I also always see game at Ft. drum on my way to my lease. I donate $100 for that hunt every year and never get it.
