Ok how many of you think they should allow quads on a wma? Of course strict rules would follow this.
I think they should. All the wmas i have been to you can walk for ever and its hard to want to kill something that far away. Dragging it mile after mile. and so on. I know all the good deer are in the thick far away. But you gotta see some of the situations we deal with on the wmas.
IM for it. with strict rules like only stock exausts and a speed limit with strict fines.
I'm against it , and Im an ATV owner and a WMA hunter. There is no way the FWC can manage that as underfunded and under manned as they are right now. You would have people riding ATV's past you all day. Plus I think it would increase poaching
I am disabled and think it is fair for the very limited access that is given to ppl with a disability permit.But if they added a limited quad permit and cleared areas only to psrk for closer access that would beneift many users of WMA area's.
i hunt mostly wma's so with strict rules, im all for it! like you said there's nothing like trying carry 100+ lbs of dead weight for a mile. and there's alot of places you just can't get a truck close enough to. so yeah im all for it!
