Yer pretty slick there buddy. Two years ago I scored 3 BP permits Sunday afternoon from th hunt camp. Me and my buddy's took a canoe up the river from silver lake. Figured we'd get away from any people,I hiked a half mile up the interstate and cut in. About a half hour later a dude walked right up to me. Then when it got dark we went to the canoe and somebody stole it. We caught that joker at the ramp.He'll prolly never steal a canoe again.
I know Croom like the back of my hand. Ive killed some nice deer in there but just got sick of all the people. Ive got a spot behind the rest area that is fool proof. Complete natural funnel
That's about where the guy walked up on me. I gave my buddy's son my permit last season and he got an 8 pt there.
Homosassa wma has some really nice deer. i have been going there for 4 years and everytime im in there i see a 8 piont or better. there is also more hog than you can shake a stick at in there. the turkeys are around 175.00 a shot but they are everywhere!
