I believe the dog hunters should have to follow the rules in place at the time of the hunt. Diving down a closed road will get you, me and everyone a ticket and fine if we are caught doing it. The same should apply to the hog/dog hunters.
If you want to hunt with your dog, you don't need to drive your truck on the closed roads to do it. You got feet, go get them. I do it during the other hunts. Everyone who hunts way back in it, finds a way to haul their gear in and game out. What, are the hunters with dogs special? The dog hunters are not allowed to drive on closed roads in other WMA's..............

Blackpowderscout.......the dogs don't have a log term effect on the turkeys, the birds fly up in the trees if chased by the dogs.
As far as seeing birds....... Bird #1 came in silent while I was cat napping and busted me. Bird #2 came in just at the edge of shooting range so I did not shoot. Bird 3 came into my lap, had him dead 15 yards, but he had a short 5 inch beard, so I didn't pull the trigger. I thought I could get my son on him the next day.
