what the e mail told me is it is open 7 days a week. you just have to get a permit for the weekdays , on the weekend. ?? now i'm not so sure
Open yes, hunting NO, only every third weekend or so you can hunt. If you paid for and received that hunt. On weekdays you can drive around and scout but thats it. When the weekend of hunting comes 100 or so trucks hit the dirt road and the deer seem to figure it out pretty fast.

just got off the phone with the county man down there. they have alot of permits for small game available for january and february. he said they have never sold out feral hogs are all you can carry 😆
i have hunted small game there more than once. never deer hunted there. have seen a ton of game, but there are lots of rules about the place. i enjoy hunting there and toolin around the trails in my jeep. small game is affordable and there are lots of squirrels and stuff to be taken.
hogs can be taken during small game also. no size or bag limits. they said they are over ran with hogs.
