anyone hunted here? i hunted it years ago before it was a park, just cropland. we caught a bunch of hogs, and seen alot of deer. i am thinking about trying it since it is pretty close to the area. discuss?
I hunted there for the first time this year. It's a very nice place, with some real large deer and hogs. You have to attend the orientation before hunting season to be allowed to hunt. And there are quite a bit of rules you will need to learn, which make it a safe place to hunt. The only down sides are the price, and it only being two day hunts. I saw plenty of big bucks before season. But during both of my hunts I only saw a 4 point I let walk. Hoping to see the larger deer the following day.( hence me not liking the two day thing) But still a enjoyable place to hunt.
