If you hunt the Cedar Key Scrub just wanted to let you know the state attempted to do a control burn but as usual it turned in to a wild fire. Most of road number nine and half of road seven was reduced to powder. But it is coming back beautiful, there are ten foot tall stalks of palmettos and I have been able to scout areas I have never seen since the scrub was open back in the early nineteen eighties. This fire was quite beneficial to the wildlife, I saw alot of deer and hogs allready investigating the sight.
