with it being so hard to get a camp spot at the the swamp,looks like fwc would make their employees play be the rules too..one of the rockridge station operators put his camp permit in the box thursday mornin an a few hunters happened to walk to the station thursday night after dark an lookd in the box an their was a permit already in it upside down so they flipd it over with a stick an it had the operaters name on it with fridays date,so he got confronted by the hunters friday mornin when he came to open the cable..seems if you work for fwc you can hunt inside the camp ground,steal hunters stands,use fwc vehicles for personnel use doin side jobs an get camp spots a day early with no punishment at all...think its bout time to contact tallahassee...we have a biologist thats from ga,managing the herd that has no clue bout our deer here. hes been asked repeatedly to put an antler restriction on the bucks in the swamp an all he keeps sayn is that greenswamp is a meat club an that the hunters there dont care bout hunting trophy deer...we need some major changes bout how the swamp is run...
every hunter ive talkd to in the swamp are in favor of an antler restriction..we have the trophy genes there,if we could just let the grow up a bit.....
