i am hunting green swamp this year, as it is as far as i will be able to go. trying to increase my odds. what kind of scents are ya'll using, do they work? what about using bleat can? what am i doing wrong. i am quiet, scent free as possible, and in a stand with game trails all around me. do i need to sit in stand longer, earlier, later? i did not see anything except birds in the 2 bowhunts i went on. should i move my ladder stand, or try another spot with my climber? i wish my great grandfather had been able to pass some knowledge on to me.

you need to walk a mile or more where no one has been

Pandaxmx is right. Lots of people hunt the GS, but stay close to the roads. You can definitely kill something, but hunting far from where others are hunting will increase your chances.

Pick up a 'detailed map' at the check station. Look at the big blocks that don't have any roads, even handicap access because every drugging body has a handicap pass this year. Then find a way into said block. You'll start seeing more game soon thereafter.

I havent hunted GS in a while, but I never saw deer till after 9. Get where you can see a long ways. I always like open palmetto flats in between little oak/cypress heads. Take a pb&j and sit as long as your butt can stand it
