A good friend of mine was still hunting a WMA opening weekend when a pack of hounds put an 8 point right over him. He killed the buck,caught the guys dogs for them,and split the meat with them. Everyone was happy.

Richloam is bursting at the seams,now that the quota is over just wait and see how many show up this weekend. I don't know why they never put some kind of cap on how many enter. Richloam is one of the last stands where you can still run full sized hounds on public land in central Fl. Very cool of your friend. I'd do the same thing. Dogs found it and ran it....still hunter shot it....everyone gets some meat.
they are still at it. i checked the ladder stands i put out for me to take my neices out hunting, got there this morning with my neice to find the bottom half of our stands gone. she was disappointed and i am pissed. luckily i have a few more sections of ladder to use. will be going back and moving my stands closer. i hope i dont hear any horses before sunup. thieves suck.
