just remember the actual truth matters little, it's what you are able to prove and get the right people to believe. but I'm glad to see someone stand up against whats not right.
It's tough,I ran my dogs opening day in Richloam and they ended up in Green Swamp West for a few hrs. Every deer my buddys jump in there heads straight for the fence. They should have some access points for us to get our hounds out of there when they cross.
everything ive mentioed is fact,not hear say or fiction..not tryn to start anything but this burns my backside..2 yrs ago my son was threatened by dog hunters on the new 900 acres opened at the end of powder grade.they were walkn there dogs in their on leashes an turnin them loose..they ran a doe past him an he got down an hollered at the dogs an stopd them because greenswamp is steal hunt only an the dog owners started chasen him thru the woods hoolern they were gona kill him...im a still hunter an dont have any problems with dog hunters until they start ruinin my huntn in the swamp..the last 3 weeks of the season you might as well not hunt the north end cause theres more dogs bein dumpd in the swamp than in richloam an they keep our fences cut too an drive in chasen an dumpn dogs...fwc spent alot of time on the north end of powder openin weekend an say they intend to cut down on the dogs bein dumpd in the swamp.i love dogs but not when they are ruinin my still huntn..

Please don't stereotype all doghunters as stupid ignorant unethical rednecks. Unfortunately it takes a few knuckleheads, such as you are dealing with, to give all of them a bad name. And what you are dealing with are scum of the earth. I have dog hunted most of my life and would never think of doing what they are doing.
There are as many ignorant dog hunters as there are still hunters. And if these idiots are poaching on a WMA, they need to be caught and prosecuted
Richloam is bursting at the seams,now that the quota is over just wait and see how many show up this weekend. I don't know why they never put some kind of cap on how many enter. Richloam is one of the last stands where you can still run full sized hounds on public land in central Fl. A good friend of mine was still hunting a WMA opening weekend when a pack of hounds put an 8 point right over him. He killed the buck,caught the guys dogs for them,and split the meat with them. Everyone was happy.
