Yea I tried Publix. The only thing I could get from them was pork fat trimmings. It's all good though, I do like the loose meat sausage for patties and to add to chili and spaghetti sauce. Really just kind of got used to it. You can't smoke it though and that's really the only drawback. When I get a pig this year I'm going to try and smoke some bacon and see how it turns out...should be interesting.
I probably live near your in-laws. My house is on the golf course so we're in the same neighborhood anyhow.

Looks like a hear made out of chicken.... I call that plate "chicken love"
