I do not have a dehydrator so I have been using the oven but I use the following base recipe for the soak, at least 24 hours, as much as 3 days. I have also chunked up some backstrap to soak in this mixture, then wrap in bacon and smoke it. I made some for the super bowl and it did not make till halftime.

My 1st thought when seeing these ingredients was it would be overkill but to my surprise, it worked out great.

8 ounces of Dales beef marinade
8 ounces of Allegro Teriyaki marinade
8 ounces of Texas Pete Hot Wing Sauce
4 Ounces of Liquid smoke
4 ounces of dissolved Brown sugar
6 ounces of Worcestershire Sauce
and typically about 12 ounces of water
