Took a couple chunks of venison out of the freezer this morning.
Sliced real thin
Marinating in
teriyaki sauce, and a bunch of other seasonings

Put it in my vacuum container and will let it marinate till this evening, then to the dehydrator overnight

Marinating, doing its thing. and some pork backstrap I am going to grill tonight

Those vacuum sealers make quick work of marinating stuff.

Finally got the jerky on the dehydrator a while ago. 3 trays of it

And a tray of peppers. I ate one of the tabasco peppers (small green ones at bottom of pic) and it was like eating pure fire

I understand tobasco's are hotter when green, the lighter color, the worst they are. They mellow after tunring red.

That Tabasco plant is 4 year old plant and I have it growing in a 10~gal bucket. Seems every year the peppers get hotter and bigger off of it. That one was rough. That particular plant is producing peppers this year faster than the octo~mom squirts out kids
