well my biltong was not a big hit, although you could carry it in your back pocket forever and it would never go bad. so dry and tough you could build a house from it if you could get a nail thru it. caught Gunboy trying to re-sole his boots with it. went back to sliced london broil in terriaki/sesame/ginger/orange blossom honey, NO SALT, then the dehydrator for app 6 hours not too dry or chewy and very good, but I'm sure it would go bad if it was around long enough. ended up vaccum sealing a lot and freezing until needed so I won't eat it all at once.
