I think lamb smells and tastes very similar to venison, although mutton can have a strong odor to it. don't think I ever found a food I didn't like,unless my sister was cooking it. one time she cooked a leg of lamb for easter that had an expired sell by date over a year old on it. when we opened the door to my mothers house my wife who has an extremely poor sense of smell started wretching. I had to open windows and burn coffee grounds to try and get the smell out of the house. I think we had chinese or pizza for easter that year.
bletch :>P I don't like lamb either. I've tried to like it with the mint jelly and all but I just can't eat it. It reminds me too much of the taste of liver. I have had some good mutton in Peru though. I don't know what they did to it but it was very tasty. That honey smoked ham looks awesome.
