I found some old cast ironware in my shed up at the camp last week which I spent some time re-cleaning and re-seasoning the last few days. Was in the mood for a good stew. Just happened to have a pack of stew meat in the fridge.
I fired the EGG up and put the dutch oven on to heat up. Added pack of meat, onion, garlic, pack of mushrooms, celery, carrots(all fresh).
Added a can of creamed corn, a can of cream of mushroom, and a can of diced maters. Salt n pepper to taste.
When it was done I opened a tube of biscuits and tore them into pieces and dropped them in the simmering stew (same method I use for dumplins).
Let that simmer for about 20 +/- minutes and served still steaming.
Only thing missing here is a glass of Maker's on the rocks, an Arturo Fuente and a camp fire
