This was my first attempt at smoking and is came out pretty bad a$$!

I started early this morning by soaking hickory chunks in apple juice for 2 hours. I prepped the Hog leg by injecting it with my own concoction of
apple juice
tabasco Worcestershire Sauce
melted butter
and everglades heat

Then I rubbed the leg down with more everglades heat

I smoked the leg for 3 hours at 250 degrees then wrapped it in tinfoil and covered it with cubes of butter and finished in the oven at 250 degrees until it reached 175 degrees internal temp and that took about 2 additional hours. It was perfect! unbelievably moist. While cooking I was hungover on nyquil so I completely forgot to take prep and cooking pictures.

Looks like you got a good smoke ring on that meat. Good job.
