I have been told it is not possible to get 5 roasts off of a deer ham. I've always called BS on anyone who called my BS. I took pics yesterday of the 5 roasts I get. I will admit my ignorance and don't know what they are called. I know top round/bottom round/sirloin, etc but don't know whats what...
Also, I made a short video to show the little "inner roast loin" (for lack of better term). To me, that is the absolute best of meat on the entire deer. Yes, better than the backstrap or tenderloins

Those fillet knives work great for butchering deer. I use a little 4" Rapala & nice video.
