Been using these off and on for a couple years now. I forgot my Food Saver up at camp, so I went and bought a couple boxes of bags, as I need to get last weeks deer in the freezer.

You can get the starter kit, for like around $4.50. Comes with the pump and a few bags. Boxes of bags are like $3.25 for (12) quart bags or (8) gallon bags
A roll of Food Saver bags cost around $11, and it takes me right at a whole roll to process a average sized deer so this is about the same cost, maybe a bit cheaper.
BTW, I got these at my local Publix. I am sure other stores have them as well
I am in love with them. It took quite a few more bags than I anticipated, but it was a little bigger deer too.
