I have a youth hunt at baird unit and have never been there but once.Will be taking my 13 year old nephew who has never killed anything.If anyone has any advice where to start it would help a lot.Thanks in advance.Pm me if you would.

I would start at the picnic area(first left you can take before check station), and walk that road down in there. Its wide open black jack oaks.

Or the edge of the pasture. we saw a flock of about 6 toms together during the deer hunt in the pasture
