Ok just got back from 3day Chass for Quota Turkey hunt. Scouted 3/24 and found them on the south end. Back out on the morning 3/25 and had at least 15gobbling in dark but all moved off to North of us. Tried again 3/26 this time we were in middle of them still went North of us and South this time. Back out 3/27 (last day) and got set up right in the middle of them could see at least 12 roosting in the trees within 40yds. All jumped down at 7:30 in the fog and ran to where we were set up. Two birds down at 7:40 (Limit for us) and had 10 other Gobblers within 20yds just looking at the two on the ground. The two shots didn't even fase the rest of the flock. What a rush never been in that many at one time before. Hope can get this pix on here.
good going, not easy on a wma. many other hunters out there?
Nice congrats!
I think they are really starting to turn on good now. Some of the hens are nesting already, should make some of these birds easier to work
