Turkeys and weather

Will the weather affect the turkeys at all? I am planing on going out wed and thursday and they are calling for storms. I dont mind if the turkey dont

Rainy or windy weather, they will usually go to open areas(fields, pastures, clearcuts, etc)

They lose their sense of hearing and get to open areas so they can see danger coming.
I killed my biggest gobbler ever during a downpour. He never gobbled, just came walking in to my calls. Shot him at 10 yards

I sat yesterday through hours of it pouring and watched 3 young birds work they're way down a food plot. It was pouring and we were under a tornado watch. They just kept on feeding to me.

glad we didnt go I dont think the tent would have survived this weather

Hunt Wed and Thurs huh? Wonder where you're going??? :shifty I'm gonna try to hunt next Wed for sure. Been so busy with work I haven't had a chance to get out yet.
