I hunted Sunday Morning from daylight till about 11. Never heard a turkey or saw a turkey track. Its like they disappeared. Owls and pecker-woods were hittin it hard and no takers.
I'm done for the year. Fish are biting and I have hunted enough in the past several months. I plan on trying to fish every other weekend out of Steinhatchee, and will be asking for takers that want to go and split expenses, and of course, the fish we keep.

Yea i havent heard one gobble since opening weekend...only heard 2 gun shots though too so i dont know where they disappeared to :dtect
I heard a gun shot at 6:22 AM Sunday. I just shook my head, and walked on in the woods
