I shot the biggest turkey of my life this Saturday, 12.5” beard, 1 ¼” spur on one side and1 3/8” on the other. Tipped the scale at 20.9 lbs. It turned into a 1 hour and 20 minute calling match battle and his curiosity got the best of him, thanks to three jakes that came in and started a comotion. Three minutes after they started yelping he was out side my blind at 50' and that was it.

Had a new guy join our lease this year and I kinda been showing him the ropes and I put his friend in my other blind and he shot a nice one this morning. 19lbs, 11" beard and both spurs were 1 1/8" long. He was a happy guy ,said that was the biggest bird he has ever shot and I was to have helped. The new member and myself went to another spot were I knew there was a nice tom and got close but a nasty barrier of vines and brush kept him from getting a shot, he is hunting this afternoon and Monday morning I hope he can seal the deal. PS will post pics on the facebook page ASAP. well as soon as I can talk the wife into downloding them for me.
