Just got back. We had a couple of jakes gobbling around 9am today and got them to come into sight just no shots, they were too far away. One of the hens came up to the decoys and started feeding around them 😆 Yesterday morning just saw a couple of hens and pig
Dint get one either, but I saw the biggest Osceola in my life over by SR 535 and Osceola Pkwy on Friday. Musta went at least 25# or more and his beard was almost touching the ground. Makes the big jake at the in-laws' look like a fryer chicken.

Spent sunday afternoon at tenoroc shooting archery and some sporting clays with friends.
Well the hunting season is officialy over for me. time to break out the bow, and get in shape for opening day of archery season in several months.
I will not allow my first opportunity to be missed by getting rusty over the summer and missing with the bow.
