Kinda interesting....the guy I got my chickens from raises them. He said on an adult there is very little meat on the breast.All bone. He said the legs/thighs are about the only edible thing on them. I ate some emu one time, but it was in a chili, so I can't give an opinion on it. Not something that is really appealing to me regardless. He did say that as soon as he posts the young emu's for sale on CL they sell within a matter of a couple hours and he has people beating his door down for them

I have had emu and ostrich "steaks" and they had good flavor, but not as juicy as good beef. Ostrich biltong (South Africa's version of jerky) is also very good.
