I walked across the river no problem in just regular hiking boots. Ankle deep

Some of the guys there last year were complaining about how dry it was and how it was affecting the turkeys but it didnt seem to bother the ones I found. Also I only had to turn the thermocell on one time last year.

i didnt see much in the way of turkey sign and i covered a lot of ground saturday afternoon trying to stir those hogs up. i will be hopefully be out next sat and sun afternoon and definitely sat march 3rd.
