I did a little online research and a few phone calls and so far the kicks gobblin thunder ported in .665 is rated best for # 5 shot 3 1/2", and pretty good for # 4 and 6 shot. they make them a lot tighter but that is what they recomend. also I want to be able to shoot my dixie tri-balls thru it also (in case I see a hog) and each of those 3 "pellets" is .600 diam and 300+ grains (each), total over 2 oz's of wt and should pattern OK thru .665. as you can imagine it's not the best time to try and buy one as they are all sold out in that size right now. guess I'm looking at next year.
Try bass pro,I just bought my kicks .665 about a month ago for my rem 870 supermag.
yup bass pro has em and cheaper than getting it from kicks, but nobody seems to know if the .665 for 3 1/2" chamber is any different than the .665 for 3" chamber. I bet they are the same, but won't be able to find out til monday.
