anyone have a brand/type of turkey choke they are wild about. it's for a benelli super black eagle 12 ga 3 1/2" chamber. I'm not wild about the patterns I'm getting with factory chokes, but suppose they will do. and need to use up some of the turkey ammo I already have before going out and buying more. I've got 3" and 3 1/2" 4's and 6's and the 4's are working better at app 40 yd's, hopefully I won't have to shoot that far.
I have a kicks gobblin thunder .665 for 3'' #4 shot, Its a little pricey at $60.00. I also have a tru-glo the $20.00 one and it works very good too. Kicks chokes has a web site that has a chart to help you get the right diameter choke to match size shot you are useing.
Check Carlsons chokes they have several for Benelli, I have the extended ported turkey .665

I shoot the tru-glo Gobble stopper extreme. Its a .665 choke. Thats out of my 870 Supermag, but they make one to fit all models of guns. They are around $25 at Dick's
the stock full choke I have now is mic'd at .675.(by my reading) the ported aftermarket versions seem like a good idea to cut down on recoil and muzzle flip but was concerned about noise increase and if they will snag wads. what do you guys think, ported or not? I know where I plan on hunting right now I won't be able to see or get a clear shot at more than 20 yds if I'm lucky, but it would be nice if a bird was dumb enough to come out in the open to strut. of the dozen or so easterns I've gotten all were under 20 yds with 6's or 7 1/2's, except the one that got away and started my benelli curse at app 40 yds with 3 1/2" # 6's
