So I went to Chass on Sat. I got out in the woods at 6:45 and found a spot to post up with a bunch of rooting around it. I sat there for 2.5 hours and did not see anything. Then I got down and drove around all day getting out to walk on many fire roads. I must have walked 20 miles that day. I ended up hunting untill 4:30 and never say more than a dove. The whole day only one deer was shot and no hogs. I don't no what else I could have done to be more successful but the woods there are to thick to just go treking through them without a GPS. I was out off Fouls Stand Road and one hunter took a shoot at something in the morning and got lost looking for what ever he had shoot at. When I left they had still not found him. I looked at the board on the way out and there has been less than 30 hogs shoot all season. That is really disapointing. I think that I will try Green Swamp next trip out.

That gate was open. If you look on the side of the road you will find little paths into the woods. There are a lot of stands out in those woods that are not being used that you can post up in. I was a bit nervous going through those woods because the line of site is only 10 feet most of the time and if you were to see a hog it would not be untill he is right next to you. There is really no way to sneak up on anything either because you are constently stepping on sticks and smashing through brush.
