Well Hogman calls me up and tells me hes gonna go to my property and hunt my stand. So i said well i gotta go install the racoon sizzler anyway so ill meet you there.. So i stop at Iluv2hunts house and he gets in the truck and we head out to my property to install the zapper and change the batteries in the cam. So i brought in my climber cause hogman was gonna hunt my 2 man stand. Now i konw that the game allways walks behind my stand and i never have a shot.. SO i tricked that hog today. He came in at the same time he usually comes in 5:30. So he does the same thing. Walks in and looks at the stand and walked around. Well he thought he got over.. Little did he know that i set up my climber facing my 2 man stand wasnt he suprised. So as he walks past the 2 man hogman draws and the dam thing got wind of me (forgot to use scentless soap, and smelled like a irish spring) and puts it in 6th gear and runs past my stand out of hogmans range. So he gets behind my climber but cant resist the smell of the soured corn (trust me mega nasty batch this time). So he turns around and its just getting to the point where i cant see but i can see the black shadow walking twards the feeder. He gets i guess 20 yards from the stand and stands there and looks up at me. Then SWACK.. got him. Then he runs past the game cam with an arrow stuck in his side and the cam takes a pic of him (cant wait to see the trail cam pic tomorrow). So we just sit there and i text hogman and say wait theres another hog coming in. So we just sit and theres a opossum walking to the feeder. At this time its just too dark so i flick on the light to see whats there and from 20 yards an arrow comes down and sticks the dam opossum right between the eyes!.. HOLY CRAP.. freakin perfect shot. So I climb down and hogman climbs down. I call iluv2hunt and hes in the middle of a few cold ones and i ask him to bring the game cart to the trail. So as i get down i notice i dropped my cellphone (blackberry) somewhere in the mudd. Im so pissed i tell hogman "god dam this hog cost me 300 bucks.. you just cant win" so i told him hey man.. you find my cell and ill give you some of the hog.. Well he found it and has half the hog in his cooler.. lol.. So we tracked it (tons of bright read blood) and it was about 30 yards away laying in a puddle of mudd. We dragged him out to the trail and by that time allen was there with the game cart. Took it to his house and skilled it and put it in the cooler for the processor. Here are the pics..
