No not that is sucks just its hard. The difference is there plenty of game but they are wise to the hunting game. So as the season goes on it gets harder and harder to see them. I have sat in there a many days some days nothing some day a dozen deer have walked by. I have a picture of me and a 10 from there hanging on the wall. So get there early in the season.
Ted is right on, it caused by hunting pressure. We have seen animals and sign but after the animals become aware of huntng season, they go noctural due to so many people in there area...
I will be out there again this year, just like last year, but have low expectations of killing any game due to hunter population in the WMA!
IMO and it is not a secret but to be sucessful on a WMA area you 2 options. Use the other hunters to your advantage or get a far from the roads as you can. When I hunt at Green Swamp, I walk for a couple of miles to hunt at least.
