Okay all you experienced hunting machines, does a storm front affect hog hunting and how? Do you see more movement before or after. Do they lay up or feed, know I am not necessarily talking about a hurricane, just a front. When is the best time to go?

Right before with a falling barometer is best. Or right after a cold front comes thru.

I agree, only deer move the best on the second night after a cold front. Hogs seem to move real good right after a rain, but I also agree a hog is a hog is a hog and will do as they want.

I think the speed with which the front comes in has something to do with it. A rapidly falling barometer will make the critters hunker down and wait for it to pass, whereas one that approaches slower and lasts longer might spur them to feed ahead of the storm to build up reserves and prepare. This is an overall critter generalization, and I have no claim on knowing what hogs will do. They are smart animals, but capable of all kinds of stuff.
