I'm going down to Myakka Friday morning (Oct 18) from St. Petersburg. The season opens up on Saturday. If anyone else is going or wants to meet up n camp/hunt ext., give me a heads up. I will be slaying hogs solo!

Good luck, I would love to go, but I have an arbuckle archery hunt that weekend. Any other time let me know it's about 15mins from me.

I've never hunted there before, is it a decent spot? I'll be heading out tomorrow morning for Myakka. Hopefully it doesn't get too packed for opening archery.

Yes it's a nice spot. But it's trapped pretty heavy for hogs.good luck !
