Better check the laws on that. Trust me my HOA just went through all of this towing stuff. You can actually have the HOA charged with grand theft auto, especially since it is a private gated community. (I personally wouldn't do it since it'd be a headache and turn your neighbors against you, but technically you could.) I'll try to find the letter a lawyer that lives in my neighborhood sent to our HOA last year. Our HOA subsequently changed the bi-law.
