I'm thinking my season is done. I don't have any private land (yet) and the only places left to hunt within a 3 to 4 hour drive are weekend only and I will never see one of them off.

Most people drive at least an hour to hunt. You just are lucky to live by a wma. when it closed down go somwhere else.. I drive 1.5 hours to hunt by you. and sometimes 3+ to hunt somewhere else..
Just get up at 3am and drive somewhere on your day off..
SO your gonna base your hunting career on one wma? What if it gets bought out and they stop hunting there? Then your gonna stop hunting cause nothings 5 mins away? Just saying.

I can't leave at 3am when I don't get off untill 6am. I have looked and picked John's mind about WMA's that are still open and if I had sat. and sun. off it would all be good, but I have tue. and wen. off. I have to go north of you or to the other coast.

theres many wmas that are within an hour. and you can hunt tues or wed.. if you got wed off then leave wed morning to go out.

All others in the Southwest are closed or are sat./sun. only.
