Any gland or liquids left in the body can absorb into the meat through any small or large cut, opening, whatever. So cutting off certain organs has become normal so meat will have less chance on tainting either by mistake or natural causes.Yes these organs need to be cut in time and if weather issues put risk in care of meat, like warm Florida hunting conditions.
hunted yesterday (fri) am and couldn't hear any hogs moving anywhere. it was cold enough to freeze my scent rags. think they huddle up together to stay warm until it warms up a little? should I sleep in on those cold days and hunt mid morm/afternoon instead? what do you think? do you prefer to hunt am or pm.I'd just much prefer to deal with a hog if I got one in daylight as opposed to nite, but will take what I can get. maybe I should pack along my coleman lantern in the truck.
I just got back from Citrus nothing anywhere. I walked for over two hours and saw nothing. Then I drove for over an hour and found some nice new spots.
here today and gone tomorrow is what I'm seeing. not enough food to keep them in one place in large #'s for any length of time I guess, unless theres a feeder.
i have one for you. if it has ba--s dont shoot it. never understood why any one would shoot somethings with ba--s.

By ba--s do you mean testic-es? If so, haven't you ever shot a buck with ba--s?
Hmm, maybe I need to buy a vowel!
