I did mine at the dmv/cty clerks office, renewing my drivers lisence, what a huge PIA, need a birth certificate and about 10 other forms of I.D. for something they have given me before. any way while there it reminded me of the hog quota, well the old lady working the hunting lisence section acted like shed never seen a computer before, now I'm no techno whiz kid but she made me look like Bill Gates, but goterdone and only made 2 choices, not many to choose from, I thought thered be alot more. and some were for dogs only.
What they're offering now is a lot more than they offered before. Don't let them hog dog permits spook ya,plenty of good still hunting at the same time.There's tons of excellent hog hunts for still hunters also. Some of the best hog hunting is during bow seasonwhere you don't even need a quota during bow or small game.
No,I'm saying some of the best hog hunting is on WMA's during bow season. Say like Richloam,if you can't kill a hog in there bow hunting,your not hunting.I use to hunt up around Aucilla a long time ago and we always killed hogs,everytime.
