We jumped this hog in some gall berries and he would run then bay, run then bay, about 10 minutes into it Gypsie not pictured just stopped. Well Damage was the first on the seen to help his mama and Taz wasn't going for it so he left his mark, all the way thru the main artery in Damages front shoulder. We stuck the hog and done some quick field bandages and off to the vet we went. When we got there and they were thru stiching and writing out the bill, the vet told us that if we hadn't cut the bleeding off and gotten there when we did, another 15 minutes would have been to late.

MAybe need to try some cut vests.
Normally I do use cut vest, this dog has never been cut until this day, he ran in to hard and to fast.
