Alright I will look into these, are the WMA's spots that you have to put in for permits or can you just go get after it during achery season?
I can help you out if you want to do a guided hunt. I have feeders going but, i don't like to shoot anything from under them. We have a 2 pig limit for $200.00. But, i can also teach you about field dressing and skinning a hog , if you don't know already. also have alot of sign to look at, so when you do go out on your own ,yuo have an idea what to look for. We use to get lots of hogs up around Aucilla during bow season. Hickory mound was a great place,also for deer. Use to be able to hunt without any quota's during bow season. Richloam also has lots of porkers and you don't needf any qouta's in there either. Good luck,hunting hogs with a bow is a blast,get out early and listen for them. They don' see well but can smell and hear.
Hi and welcome to hoggin'. I've hunted these guys since '92, and i've done most of my hunting on private land, spotting and stalking. My first hunt was with a guide near Sebring. We rode a buggy half the day, then got out and walked. I did kill a hog the second day, but I learned a ton, more than I got to practice the next 5 years!. Get aholt of that guide for $200 and go learn something. It will be the best 200 bucks you ever spent.
