keep it plugged and put the 2 rounds in your pocket, why get all worked up about it?

as long as it's legal I'd rather have 5-6 in the gun than 3. I've heard some people actualy miss (big buck) or don't drop them with the first shot (kemster), not that it has or ever will happen to me, lol, or if I want to shoot more than one (strunes). adding/removing the mag extension is a snap. plus we were so broke last Christmas my wife cut the pockets out of my pants so I'd have something to play with.

I have never needed the third shot let alone the 4-6 shots...you might try some more practice if you think you need 5-6 shots loaded in your gun...LOL

Frank last year I hunted the whole season with only 4 slugs cuz thats all I had and couldn't find more of the same brand, bagged 1 hog and had 3 slugs left over. let me ask you, if you've only used 2 shots at game is that how many rounds you bring into the woods with you? thought not. I can count on one hand the times I've needed more than 1 shot for any kind of game I've taken over the last 35 odd years, but I like to carry at least 5 and no more than 10, sometimes with a shotgun I will mix up a few of different shot size or combo of slug/buckshot, or when using the 22 mag I like to bring some hollow point and some solids. so when I want to load 5 ( coincidently the same # they come boxed in ) and have them all in the same place at the same time ready for use if in the absurdly rare chance I might need them, I know right where they are and don't have to fumble around in pockets or pack and risk dropping/losing 1 or more. just a more convenient way for me to carry extra ammo, doesn't mean I'm a lousy shot and need more range time.you would realy rather carry spare ammo in a pocket than a guns magazine? well if thats how you like to roll more power to you, I prefer another way thats all.
