The added fiber optic virtually gives you rifle sights when put on the opposite end of the barrel than the existing sights...just sayin it helps alot.
do you mean put it back by the reciever or next to the front one?
I put it back, or actually where I get a better grouping with standard slugs, nothing fancy. I was amazed at the accuracy, almost like shooting a rifle. I am sure a red dot would make it even better but I was being cheap...of course there are some highly rated inexpensive red dots out now.
It does work gives you a true line of sight almost like iron sighting it makes you aim down the whole bbl.Not sure of your bbl but they work great on vent rib bbls even when bird hunting. Also you could get a red dot they work great and for short range use they are super!
so further towards the breach end/or receiver, I can see that and it shouldn't be too hard or expensive. if I had money to burn I'd go with one of those small trijicon, but for now I'm trying to keep it cheap, low drag and rugged. what you are talking about kinda sounds like a double bead just a little further apart right?
