I agree. Setting the min size to 5" spikes doesn't give em a chance to grow, especially with the folks out there looking for pure numbers and not quality.
There is a lot of poaching on the ones near me. I know of guys that have killed big deer at night and does all the time.Keeping them locked up in the off season would be a good start.
I agree. And much stiffer penalties for poaching would be good too.
Good feedback everyone. All the hunting ive ever done is running dogs on hogs at night on private land. Honestly I was really just a ride along on my friends buggy back home a few times. Im really wanting to learn and get into florida hunting. I can fish better then most(my own judgement hahahaha) anyone in the jacksonville area willing to trade a few fishing trips for a few ride along hunting trips? just throwing that out there.......
