I feel better knowing i'm not the only one. I respect all animals and will not just shoot something and let it lay and rot. If I'm not going to eat it then I make sure I have someone else ready for the meat.

If they weren't tearing up our land then honestly I probably wouldn't of shot as many as I have so far. There are 2 different groups of them and both are down to a 1/4 of the size they were, So they don't do near the damage right now. But it won't be long and the little ones will be around. So the cycle starts all over again....

When you have enough steaks, roast, bacon, Cured hams, and sausage there is no need to shoot any more deer or hogs.

Also I can say I never pass them up when deer hunting. There are plenty of times I shoot hog then had deer to shoot minuets later. Hell I even have the hat trick one day in archery of public land, first a hog at 10 yards then a doe at 8 feet then a buck at 20 yards all within the hour.

One thing I will never shoot, under any circumstance, is a sow with small pigs and/or a sow with sagging teats. They are usually drawn down from nursing and the meat is wortless
