Most cooler plugs Screw on, are the same as hose. Local home depot will have a cap in the garden section.
good idea with the foam HB, got any ideas for when the handles break off? I used some sheet metal screws and jb weld-so far so good. handles work fine when it's empty but don't trust em when it's full.

A small dolly?,,,lol just givin you a hard time. My pet peeeve is those damn retractable handles for the coolers with built in wheels. I take mine to the beach so often or it gets rained on, either rust or sand gets them all clogged up no matter how much oil I get in there.
Thanks for all the cool tips and DIY tweaks for the coolers. Right now I'll probably only use it once a year. I'm might try the foam thing one day though
I guess plastic aint gonna cut it no matter what you do, (fix the hinge and the handles break) if the cooler is really loaded down. the dollies Ken and Barbie weren't much use. so far in life I found nothing works better than brute force and ignorance. those I got plenty of and are free.
