Anyone ever been cut by a boar hog or had a close call? I had a big nasty with 2" dog killers break bay awhile back. He winded me as I was going to him and charged me full speed. Lucky he was in some pretty open stuff. I was about 75 yards away when he charged ,by the time I gave him a 3'd eye he fell inches from my feet.
had a hog in the trap. shot him in the head at point blank range 15 times with a .22 . He got pissed and tried to jump out the trap. His face will full of blood and he was pissed. Stuck his head and half his body out the trap (some weak ass trap we had) and came with in 3 inches from me and Iluv2hunts face. Im pretty sure he spit blood on our face. I dropped my gun i was so scared and iluv2hunt turned around so fast and ran that he totally face planted into the side of my truck and dented the quarter panel. We were so suprised that we just stood there for about 15 mins tyring to figure out what to do. The door on the trap was a solid piece of ply wood so you would have to get pretty much on top of the trap to look inside it. FInally i pulled out my .40 and put one in the hogs head. I seriously could not get the vision of the hogs face full of blood spitting it at my face for weeks.
Hogs are very dangerous and if wounded are pretty tuff.

close calls, had a few. mostly clients who put bad shots on hogs. I don't run any more. victory through superior firepower. usually carry a .40 pistol and my mossberg 835 with 3 1/2" 00 buck. take their face off. that usually stops them. like Skunk Ape. have had them drop inches from my feet.
